Prof. Dr. Fatih KIRIŞIK

Prof. Dr. Fatih KIRIŞIK was born in Kırşehir. He completed his primary, secondary, and high school education in Kırşehir. He graduated from the Faculty of Law at Ankara University in 1998. After completing his legal internship, he was appointed as a Research Assistant in the Department of Commercial Law at the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Kütahya Dumlupınar University in 1999. He taught various law courses, including Basic Law, Administrative Law, Constitutional Law, Criminal Law, Administrative Judicial Law, Tax Law, and Commercial Law.

In 2001, he was assigned as a Lecturer by Dumlupınar University to teach law courses at he Turkish World Jalalabad Business Faculty in Kyrgyzstan. In 2002, he completed his master's degree at the Institute of Social Sciences at Kütahya Dumlupınar University with the thesis on "Judicial Review of the Administrative Discretion." In 2008, he earned his Ph.D. at the Institute of Social Sciences at Ankara Gazi University with the thesis on "The Impact of Transparency in Governance and the Right to Information on the Functioning of Public Administration."

Prof. Dr. Fatih KIRIŞIK served as an Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, and full Professor at Kütahya Dumlupınar University. During his tenure, he held various administrative positions, including Director of the Institute of Social Sciences, Head of the Department of Legal Sciences, Provincial Exam Coordinator for Atatürk University Open Education, Provincial Exam Coordinator for Istanbul University Open Education, Provincial Course Coordinator for Anadolu University, and Deputy Chair of the Ethics Committee.

He later joined the Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences at Karabük University in the Department of Political Science and Public Administration. In addition to serving as the Director of the Justice Vocational School and Head of the Department of Legal Sciences, he taught undergraduate and graduate courses in Basic Law, Administrative Law, Administrative Judicial Law, Public Policy Analysis, Improvement of Public Administration, Development of Human Rights, and the Structure of Government in Turkey.

Prof. Dr. Fatih KIRIŞIK has conducted extensive academic research, focusing on developing institutional models for the advancement of higher education, designing models for improving public administration, identifying and proposing solutions to public policy issues, examining the development of the Presidency in Turkey, and conducting comparative analyses of the parliamentary and presidential systems. He has also served as an editor in numerous national and international academic publications. Additionally, he has authored and co-authored several national and international books and book chapters, including titles such as "Basic Concepts of Law," "Administrative Law," "Administrative Judicial Law," "New Trends in Public Administration," "Youth Values, Problems, and Trends in Turkey," "Comparative Public Administration," "Governance from Start to Finish," "Urbanization Problems and Solutions," "City and Urban Planning," "Turkish Public Administration," "Public Administration Auditing," "Local Services," "Rebuilding Turkey After April 16," "Transparency and the Right to Information in the Process of Administrative Transformation," "Discretionary Power in Public Administration and Judicial Review," "Political Ecology," and "Decision-Making in Public Administration and Political Science." His academic output includes 19 national and international articles, 18 national and international conference papers, and numerous citations in journals indexed in national and international databases.

Prof. Dr. Fatih KIRIŞIK places great importance on innovative and solution-oriented scientific projects. In this context, he is committed to designing social models that address the current challenges facing the Republic of Turkey. He continues his research and publications to improve public administration and public policies, with a focus on implementing the social models he designs.
